The Funding Milestones
What happens as the Lottery grows?
From the first 1,000 tickets to 10,000 and beyond, each milestone turns regular participation into more funding for Kettering.
Why milestones matter
Every extra ticket increases what Kettering can do each month.
The Lottery is designed to scale. These are monthly examples of what regular participation could support at each ticket milestone. The prize figure is only one part of the funding: 90% of ticket income goes towards the Prize Fund and the other four Kettering funding pots together.
ACTIVE TICKETS
£700 prizes per month
The other four funding pots would also receive £1,100 per month combined for local businesses and town-centre projects.
ACTIVE TICKETS
£3,000 prizes per month
At this scale the Lottery could also support £3,000 Business Support, £1,000 Cleaning & Improvement, £1,000 Accessibility and £1,000 Community Choice per month.
ACTIVE TICKETS
£6,000 prizes per month
At this scale, the model could also put £6,000 into Business Support and £2,000 each into Cleaning & Improvement, Accessibility and Community Choice per month.
What that could mean
Small monthly contributions. Serious local capacity.
At 10,000 tickets, the five local pots shown above would total £18,000 every month — 90% of the £20,000 raised from £2 tickets.
That’s the point of the milestones: not a one-off fundraiser, but recurring money that can be planned around.
If enough of us take part regularly, Kettering could plan prizes, back businesses and make visible improvements month after month.
